Abigail Whitney joins Toronto Metropolitain University's School of Performance at The Creative School as Guest Artist , directing the Canadian premiere of Sophie MacIntosh's dark comedy MacBitches, featuring fourth-year Performance Acting students and Performance Design and Production studnets across all years. The production opens this March at the Performance Studio Theatre (345 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M5B 2K3).

Show Description:

When a freshman unexpectedly lands the coveted theatre role of Lady Macbeth over a senior, a party with her upperclassmen descends into psychological manipulation. Drawing from Macbeth, the play examines how ambition corrupts within the pressure-cooker environment of a college theatre program.
